Keep those nasty ticks off your dog!
A mild winter is nice sometimes, but less snow and cold can mean a lot more ticks the following spring. And that's exactly what's happening in our fields and forests right now! Tick bites can cause infections and other maladies to your dog, so here are a few ideas to keep those ticks away from you and your dog:
Spray Apple Cider Vinegar, diluted in water, on your pet.
Regular grooming and brushing can help you find and eliminate ticks before they have a chance to bite
Tick collars are a great and effective way to keep ticks at bay - just make sure to follow the manufacturer instructions to make sure you're using it safely around your pet
Regularly mow your lawn so ticks can't hide in long grass, where they love to live. Also, consider tick repellants!
